The following questions are based on the learning outcomes for the Korean Major. Please take a moment and reflect how these outcomes have matched your experience in your major classes.

*3. I can confidently read hangul texts with facility and can confidently read Sino-Korean texts with the help of character dictionaries.
 
*4. I am confident in my ability to read about 800 Sino-Korean characters in the context of mixed-script texts, such as newspapers and professional journals.
 
*5. I am confident in my ability to use the “attack skills” I’ve been taught in my major to read several hundred more Sino-Korean characters that I have not yet learned.
 
*6. I am confident in my ability to analyze and discuss major literary works from the pre-modern and modern period that form t he rich literary heritage of Korea.
